Description: In the beginning of this film, the camera is directed from the best known Zagreb café of its time out towards the street, from where a large group of adults and children are inquisitively looking through the glass window into the café. This is followed by a gentle panoramic shot, where the camera records a crowd of people in the café; on the left side an orchestra is playing, and at some of the tables the patrons are reading newspapers. Waiters are making their way through the crowd, carrying drinks and offering newspapers to the guests. Next is a panoramic shot of the café's interior: a view from above, taken from the gallery. Among the patrons military officers in the Austro-Hungarian monarchy uniforms stand out as well as a lady wearing a large decoration made of feathers on her head. The film ends with another look out through the café's windows, but this time to the other side – towards Zagreb's mainstreet (Ilica) where a photographic studio named Atelier Mosinger can be seen. This film was originally made on a 35 mm nitrate film stock; it was restored from a 35 mm soundless copy and subsequently copied onto acetate film stock.
